Drop Zone (E)

The rise or drop conduits travel between a panel and the routing zone.

Last updated July 19, 2026

The Drop Zone (E) is the vertical space conduits travel between an electrical panel and the routing zone — the rise (Overhead) or drop (Underground) where a conduit leaves the panel and reaches the routing band. This room lets ABR keep proper bend radii and avoid conflicts with wall penetrations. Enter it in feet and inches (e.g. 8' 0").

On the diagram, E is the dashed vertical distance between the panel and the routing zone, and R is the height of the zone itself.
