Generate Routes (Avoid Clash On)

Generate Routes turns your 2D routing layout into real conduit geometry in the Revit model. With Avoid Clashes Automatically turned on (the default), ABR routes around obstacles for you.

Before it runs, ABR does a couple of checks:

• It applies your Routing Zone (R) and Drop Zone (E) values. If either is zero, it stops and asks you to enter non-zero values.
• If your model has home-run boxes, it asks how the conduit should meet them.

Then, with clash avoidance on, it asks which categories the routes should dodge and searches for clash-free elevations so the conduits weave around ducts, beams and other elements — and produces a clash report.
